Creation of Incubators for the strengthening of start-ups in ICT in the field of provision of services and procedures in Public Administration

Description

This action is a pilot action in the context of the development and operation of incubators from mixed schemes that will involve policy makers and academic-research schemes.
In the first phase, incubators will be created that will support companies in the field of Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) that produce products and services that can be used by the Public Administration.
The aim is to create a critical mass of new companies that will be called upon to design and produce specialized and integrated products that can meet the needs of Public Administration with the ultimate goal of gaining market share in Europe and the international market.
As part of the action, inactive public buildings will be utilized which will be designed to accommodate the new uses.

Indicative eligible interventions - costs:
i. Reconstruction of a building and landscaping of interiors.
ii. Costs of supply of equipment and means.
iii. Specialized technical & scientific support (consulting, mentoring) in the established incubator companies.
iv. Cost of filing patents and other industrial property rights.
v. Participation in European / international exhibitions.

Budget

The total budget of the operation amounts to the amount of 5,000,000 € (in public expenditure).
