Catering Business Grant for the supply of Outdoor Radiators
Information sheet for submitting applications for financing investment projects in the Action
The new program "Subsidy of Catering Companies for the supply of Outdoor Radiators" was announced in order to support the operation of catering companies, which are affected by the effects of the outbreak of COVID-19 disease. By subsidizing the supply of outdoor heating devices, companies are given the opportunity to operate in outdoor, legally used areas, where better ventilation will contribute to the protection of public health.

Beneficiaries of the Action:
Beneficiaries of the Action are the catering companies, regardless of their legal form.
Investment Plans & Support
The supply of a radiator per ten (10) square meters is subsidized and up to 100 euros for each radiator. The maximum amount of aid for each restaurant is 5000 euros.
Subsidized Expenses
1. Public funding covers outdoor radiators of any type (LPG, electric, natural gas, infrared, halogen or other), autonomous / individual, or part of mobile equipment with integrated outdoor radiators, which are / were new and unused when buying them.
2. The Action provides for the subsidy of the supply of a radiator per ten (10) square meters (sq.m.) of legally licensed outdoor space and those granted in any way by other bodies (Municipalities, Port Funds, EOT, etc.), as well as of the concessions based on the application submitted by the potential recipient of the aid under article 65 of law 4688/20120 and up to 100 euros for each radiator without VAT. In case the number of sq.m. does not justify an integer number of radiators, the amount of the grant is calculated by the next integer number of radiators.
3. Supply of radiators carried out from 01.02.2020 onwards and before the submission of the application for funding, is covered by the Action, provided that the recipient of the aid had at least one active KAD, at the date of supply and still has it on the date of submission of his application for funding.
4. The maximum amount of aid that a company can receive for a restaurant is five thousand euros (5,000 €).
5. The total amount of public funding that each company can receive (at the level of “single company”) from each aid it has received or will receive under Regulation 1407/2013 in the last three years, including this Action, calculated on a rolling basis, may not exceed 200,000 euros.
